Background:
Benjamin Harker established The Harker Pottery Co. in a log cabin in
East Liverpool, Ohio in 1840.  Ninety-one years later in 1931, the company moved
to Chester, West Virginia, where it remained until its closure in 1972.

Square salad plate is in the teal green Corinthian pattern by Harker Ware Pottery.
Corinthian has a plain dark teal base with a raised white gadroon edge or rim. Plate
has a white bottom without the Harker mark.

5" Diameter bottom

Careful examination of the plate reveals an item free from chips, cracks, loss of
pattern, evidence of repair or restoration.  Gadroon edge is 100%.  Sparse crazing
is visible with a jeweler's eyepiece.
