This 1930's cuff fits firmly so the strikingly large glass cabochons, made to simulate carnelian, sit upright on your wrist when worn. Frequently there will be one large glass cab at the center of a design, this bracelet is unique in that the domed and full shaped glass repeats across the entire surface for a bold silhouette and a substantial feel.

On Czech glass
Czech or bohemian glass created from the end of the Victorian era through the mid-century was world-renowned for its unprecedented resemblance to natural gemstones. Skilled craftsman from the region engineered new methods of cutting and coloring glass to simulate the look of rubies, diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, and more. In addition, Czech glass jewelry makers were highly trained in the metalwork for the settings around the glass. The Czech region produced so many different styles (all of superb quality) that Czech glass pieces have become their own collectable category.
On large size
Antique and vintage styles that are typically seen in small or modest sizes get dramatic attention when they’re found in large, oversized, or bold pieces. These larger versions increase the collectability of a piece.
