Vintage Red Ryder BB Gun - Model 1938 - Mfg in 1972 - Excellent Condition!

Up for auction is a Daisy Red Rider Model 1938 BB Gun In excellent condition.  First, a little background on the Daisy Model Model numbers.  The Daisy Red Ryder Model 1938 was introduced by Daisy in 1972, and was continued to be produced until 1979.  In 1979 Daisy made some modifications to the gun, and changed the Model number to 1938B. The Model 1938B is still being made today.
The Daisy Museum offers a dating service if you send then the serial number of your gun.  I sent the serial of this gun in, and received a reply stating that the gun was made in December 1972.  The gun is close to 50 Years old!  I will include a copy of the letter with the gun.
The gun is in excellent working and physical condition.  No rust - and only a few tiny "dings".  Please examine all of the pictures.
