Vintage Abingdon USA Art Studio Pottery Goose Duck Matte Blue Figurine Ornament

Description

Offered for purchase is a charming piece of Abingdon pottery. It is a goose sitting on a nest with its neck outstretched. The entire figure is a lovely matte blue color. The base is marked Abingdon USA (photo 7).
This figurine stands just over 4 1/2" high and sits on a base that measures about 3 1/4" by 2 1/2"
The base shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. The rest of the figurine is in good condition. There are no major chips, cracks, or repairs. There may be a small area of crazing on the base (photo 8). Some of the crevices are a little dirty and could use some gentle cleaning.
