Hotoven Covered Casserole dish made by Harker Pottery Co, commonly called the 'Oldest Pottery Company in America'. The company ran from 1840 to 1972 and this Petit Point pattern was popular around the 20's - 30's but I'm not sure how long they continued to make it. This is an 8" dish in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or mars. There is some expected discoloration and crazing of the interiorfinish. There is also a bit of wear on the 'metal' trim. I will capture what I can in the photos but please ask any questions you may have. The Petit Point pattern is representative of a floral cross stitch design. Besides a casserole this could easily be used as a bean crock or covered vegetable bowl. Very nice size.
