The very first issue of the popular Capped Bust type half dollar series. Collectors will note the quite different design of the obverse portrait. Only the first two years used this design. The coin has only light wear, with all details strong. But for an unfortunate planchet flaw (not circulation damage!) in the obverse field, this coin would command a very high price. Large stars variety. Offered with NO RESERVE!
