Tower Hobbies System 500 - 6 Channel RC Transmitter (Ch. 52)

Here is a piece of RC history for your collection!
From the 1980s.  This is a functional 6 channel AM radio with crystal for Channel 52.
Over all, it is in good condition.  There are two things worth mentioning.  1st, the black cap on the aileron trim tab is missing.  2nd, there is discoloration/corrosion on the back panel of the radio.  I pulled the cover off to see if there was a battery leakage issue and there was not.  I am not sure where the corrosion came from, but the interior is clean, see photos.  The batteries charged up and the meter shows full charge.  Can't guarantee how long they stay charged, but they appear to be working well at this time.
Trainer button works, and there are two AUX channels, plus the four standard for throttle, rudder, elevator and ailerons.  The antenna is solid.  This has the original charger for nicad batteries.
