This listing is for Jeannette Homespun child's tea set in original box. Circa 1930's, The set is made of clear pink depression glass made by the Jeannette Glass company. Set includes 3 dinner plates, 4 saucers, 1 pitcher lid, 3 tea cups, and 1 spoon. The spoon is not original to the set, but it looks as thought its been there awhile and was possibly used by the original owner. The set is missing 1 dinner plate, 1 pitcher, and 1 tea cup.
The set is in excellent condition. The delicate dishes are a clear pink with the iconic homespun design. All dishes are chip and crack free. The original box is in incredible condition for its age. The box has a blue and red checkered design with images of the dishes includes and children receiving the set. Box is still sturdy and is holding together quiet nicely. Slightly dirty from storage over the years, but that is a small price to pay when you consider the age. Overall it looks as thought this set has been lovingly taken care of throughout the years.
Dishes range in size, from 4.5-2 inches tall.
Box is approx. 11.25x 3x 10.75 inches.
