Description
The Harker Pottery Co., of East Liverpool, Ohio and later Chester, West Virginia, is commonly called the, "Oldest Pottery in America." It was started in a log cabin in 1840 by Benjamin Harker and remained on its original site for ninety-one years (it closed in 1972). This pepper shaker is from Harker's "Cameoware" line of dinnerware, one of its most recognizable and well loved patterns of the late 1940's and early 1950's. The shaker measures 3 1/4" tall by 2 1/2" wide by 1 5/8" thick, and in good used condition, with no chips or cracks, but it does have crazing all over, and some stains underglaze; it has a new cork to seal it closed that fits snuggly and securely.Note: This item will be ready to ship within one to two business days of receiving your order, and ship with USPS first class mail which includes tracking.
