FodSports M1-S Helmet Intercom System

Description

We bought this after riding for MANY years without any communication systems at all and watching other riders talk conveniently between them. It comes with TWO complete helmet intercoms; with both full face cheek microphones and microphone wands for half or 3/4 helmets, connects with up to 8 riders, pairs with 3 Bluetooth devices and works with both SIRI and S-Voice commands.
AND this comes with a third helmet mount, microphone and speakers, since I was going to mount the system on my full face helmet and my half helmet without having to change the mics and speakers.
The system is easy to install, set up and link to Bluetooth and both devices and works reasonably well at reasonable distances. The speakers sound good for music and communications too. Water resistance is a must, though we have no experience with rain and this system.
My disclaimer is that although Fodsports Intercom claims that it's good for1/4 mile distances between the two separate riders, I found that to be very optimistic. Although it works well and is better than no intercom at all, I recommend that it works best for riders that ride two up meaning both on the same motorcycle.  A riding friend is who recommended that I try this system because of it's lower cost and he rides two up with great success. My wife and I ride one up and were happy with the experience, yet thought it best that we invest in a more expensive system for longer term satisfaction.
