    Note: This osd can only be used in flight controllers that support the mavlink protocol such as APM pirates. It cannot be used by gps alone. It can only read the mavlink protocol.

    This OSD automatically recognizes the camera video format. But if the camera is not connected, there is a solder joint on the back to choose the format when there is no camera output. The default is N. Soldering PAL is the output of PAL.
    MinimOSD, is an OSD based on Arduino. This is specially designed for the flight control of ArduPilot MEGA and MAVlink protocol
    Its main components are an Arduino ATmega328 MCU and a MAX7456 monochrome screen overlay chip. Programming is via an FTDI compatible 6-pin header
    It features two separate power and ground sections for the OSD-capable analog stage: a 5 V section for the ATMEGA and the OSD-capable digital stage, powered via the FTDI cable or other 5 V source; and a regulated 5 V The analog stage portion of the OSD function of V is powered through the video/output header, capable of handling up to +12 V input. Solder jumper wires to combine the two parts for power and ground, if needed.
    MinimOSD uses a high-cost and high-efficiency DC-DC regulator, not comparable to other vendors' old v0.1. The official original version v0.1 uses a linear regulator. When the power supply is independent, the input of 12V will cause serious heat generation. Although parallel power supply can solve the heat problem, it brings two other problems: increasing the power supply pressure of the flight controller and to signal noise.
    MAVLink-OSD cancels the single power supply mode selection jumper and completely operates in an isolated dual power supply mode.
