First Issued in 2015 the United States Mint's American Liberty Series is known for it's portrayal of a more modern, more diverse personification of Lady Liberty. In 2019 this series is introducing a 2.5 oz American Liberty Silver Medal, the first ever by the U.S. Mint! It features a beautiful high relief matte finish. The obverse depicts Liberty with 13 rays of light emanating from her headdress, symbolizing the free and creative spirit of America's people. The reverse design features a bald eagle as it prepares to land. Each medal is struck at the Philadelphia Mint from 2.5 oz of .999 fine silver!
This 2019 American Liberty Silver Medal has been certified a near perfect SP69 First Strike by PCGS!! This 2019 American Liberty Silver Medal has an extremely low mintage of 50,000 and a PCGS population of ONLY 1065!!
