    Description

    This offering is for 2 miniature clown dolls.
    They are 8” .in length and both in very good vintage condition. The porcelain on both dolls is in excellent condition as well as the faces, hands and feet on each.
    No cracking or chipping.
    The body of each clown is heavy bendable wire covered with soft cloth stuffing and then attached to the porcelain parts.
    The first clown doll has intricate face markings and is smiling.
    It is wearing a yellow and green polka dot satin outfit with a collar in white with light blue edging.
    Hat is green satin polka dot and it has red poms for its ears and the top of its hat. It sits very well.
    The porcelain shoes are too small for it to stand on its own.
    The shoes are painted on to the porcelain foot and leg.
    Shoes are black.
    The second clown doll has basically the same facial features but not exactly.
    This clown is dressed in yellow and red polka dot outfit with green poms on the hat.
    There is some paint missing from the shoes on this doll.
    There is no manufacturers mark on either doll.
    Probably made in the late 70’s.
