    ESTATE FIND!! ABINGDON POTTERY DRAPED VASE #557 DECAL & GOLD DECORATED
    This GLORIOUS POTTERY PIECE was made by the ABINGDON Pottery that was located in Abingdon, Illinois. This vase is in REMARKABLE CONDITION but if you know or have any other pieces of Abingdon pottery it is a well made sturdy pottery and stands up to the test of time.  This vase is a large vase standing 11 inches tall and has a top opening diameter of 6 7/8.  The floral decoration on the pottery was not done by Abingdon but other company's did decal and paint decorating to the plain pieces that Abingdon supplied them with.  This is a beautiful vase that has not chips or cracks.  This is item #557 that was made from 1941-1948.
