    Description

    1930's Engel Bros. ART DECO Rhinestone Sapphire Rhodium Bracelet 6.75". Marked with EB in a diamond denoting Engel Bros., NY. The company was founded by Alfred and Frederick Engel whose father was a jeweler from Germany. This genuine art deco bracelet is inscribed L.S. to R.W. and dated 10-15-33 placing it directly in the art deco period!  The bracelet is comprised of 11 rectangular sections each containing a clear and sapphire bagette along with small round rhinestones. The sides of each section have decorative impressed filagree. Condition is good although there is some degradation of the inside plating do to age. The outside area, and what you visually see, is still in excellent condition. All stones are intact.
